- 01. Candidates in the RRB NTPC Typing Test must type in English or Hindi strictly as per the language option selected at the time of filling the application form. No change of language is permitted on the day of examination.
- 02. Candidates who select Hindi for the RRB NTPC Typing Test must be familiar with the usage of both Krutidev and Mangal fonts, as both will be available in the typing software at the exam centre.

Candidates who complete the passage before the 10-minute window closes may retype the
passage from the beginning within the remaining duration of the test.
Candidates who do not type the whole passage at least once in 10 minutes will be treated as disqualified. - 04. The transcripts of candidates who do not type 300 words in English or 250 words in Hindi within the prescribed 10-minute time will not be evaluated and such candidates will be treated as not qualified.

Use of editing tools for correcting mistakes in the typed matter is
strictly not permitted. This includes Backspace, Delete, cursor movement keys,
spell check, and auto-correct. Any technical or other problem arising from the use of editing
keys will be the sole responsibility of the candidate.
Note: No editing keys like backspace, delete, or cursor movement keys are permitted during the RRB NTPC Typing Test. - 06. PwBD Exemption: Candidates who are permanently disabled due to Blindness/Low Vision, Cerebral Palsy, or Loco Motor Disability with not less than 40% permanent disability may be exempted from the RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test, subject to submission of a valid exemption certificate.
- 07. Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for latest updates on the RRB NTPC recruitment process. Do not be misled by unauthenticated sources.
- 08. Beware of touts who try to misguide candidates with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB NTPC selections are based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and recruitment is based only on the merit of the candidates.

Important — RRB NTPC Typing Test (CBTST) Quick Summary: The RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test is purely qualifying in nature — scores are not added to the final merit list, but qualifying is mandatory for clerical posts including Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper and Senior Time Keeper. Candidates must achieve 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi within 10 minutes. A minimum of 300 words (English) or 250 words (Hindi) must be typed to be eligible for evaluation.
